- I was raised a preachers kid and got married in 1991. We have 5 kids: 20 yr. old son and 4 younger daughters the youngest being 4 yrs. As a married couple we worked with youth and pastored for 17 years which came to an abrupt end in 2008. Since then we have been trying to find our place. We lost our house due to the bad economy and lack of work as well as paying for an adoption that was started in 2007. We are in the process of fixing up an owner finance house in the poorest area of our city. I am just a Christian woman trying to wade through all of this while raising a family, being a wife and doing the ministry God has for me. Life is Mission. The time is now not later. If we believe in Jesus we need to live this out every day and this should be woven in the very fiber of our everyday life.
